My Story

I was born in Wisconsin in 1994, and I lived there for the first year of my life and then I moved to Belgrade, MT where I have lived here ever since. I graduated high school in 2013 and soon after, college was my next step. I decided I would get a bachelor's in film at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT and that is exactly what I did. I finally graduated college in 2017 and the entire time from 2013-2021, I worked in the restaurant industry. That in itself was a unique experience, and I will never forget how working in the restaurant industry creates a unique family type environment. Despite all of this however, it left me feeling unfulfilled. I knew I needed to do something different with my life because going to college and obtaining a degree to then not use was simply not an option.

I quit working at the restaurant in 2021 and from then on, I decided my next journey in life. The decision was made to become self-employed. I really wanted to be my own entity and work on my own schedule and not have to worry about someone else telling me where and what I can do and what I can't do. In a sense, I wanted to be free from the clock in and clock out work mentality. That is when I decided to start my own business in videography, and in March of 2023, "Tay-Rae Productions" was born.

My whole life, I have always been the class clown. Making people laugh, and the ability to work well with others just came natural to me and I knew I would incorporate these qualities into my business. I take my work and my business very serious simply because I am representing myself as well as my brand. Professionalism is very important to me, and it reflects in my work and who I am. I will try my best to bring creativity, professionalism, and a solid product to the table. But on the same side, having fun is always important and it is with these qualities that I believe will make my business going forward not only successful but fun and re-assuring that I am doing the right thing.

I hope this wasn't too long and if you have made it this far, high five! I want to thank you for visiting my site and learning just a little about me, and I look forward to potentially working with you in the future!
